Oxford County Feline Wellness & Outreach Programs (formerly Woodstock Kitten Nursery) is dedicated to revolutionizing our community through innovative Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) programs and comprehensive educational outreach, fostering a compassionate coexistence between humans and cats across Oxford County and beyond. Our TNVR initiatives are designed to humanely manage stray and free-roaming cat populations, with a special focus on supporting the farming community by curbing uncontrolled breeding that can overburden agricultural resources and disrupt local ecosystems. By offering low-cost spaying/neutering and rabies vaccinations, we enable farmers to maintain healthy, stable cat populations that provide natural pest control without overwhelming barns or fields. We also empower cat colony caretakers with resources, hands-on training, and essential supplies, ensuring managed colonies thrive under sustainable, community-aligned care practices.
Our educational and community programs empower diverse groups to strengthen their bonds with cats while promoting responsible pet ownership. Through our Whiskers & Wellness program, in partnership with the Brightside Hub, we engage at-risk youth in therapeutic activities involving cats, fostering emotional resilience, empathy, and life skills through hands-on animal care. Our Paws & Whiskers program supports adults with physical and mental challenges, offering tailored opportunities to interact with cats in ways that promote well-being, confidence, and social connection. Our Family Program Initiative provides targeted workshops and resources, with a focus on safely introducing cats to babies or toddlers to prevent behavioral conflicts and ensure harmonious households. These programs collectively educate on spaying/neutering, feline health, and behavior management, addressing common issues that lead to relinquishment, such as misconceptions about cat interactions with young children. Additionally, we are excited to pursue partnerships with senior homes to bring the joy of cat interactions to residents, enhancing their emotional well-being and quality of life through meaningful, therapeutic connections with cats.
To our cherished supporters, your generosity through donations, government and private grants, and participation in vibrant fundraising events like bingo nights has been the heartbeat of our work. As we embrace this renewed mission, we humbly ask for your continued support to drive these transformative TNVR and community programs forward. Together, we can sustain our commitment to building a community where cats flourish in safe, loving homes, free-roaming populations are managed with care, and individuals of all ages and backgrounds find joy and growth through their connection with cats.

Our amazing organization of compassionate volunteers are here to provide loving care to those vulnerable kittens and pregnant cats that have been abandoned or orphaned and otherwise left to fend for themselves or die trying. We are a 95% volunteer and foster based program.
Our volunteers are the best! We hate to brag but its true! So many of us are stuck in the drama unfolding in our world. It nice to have a safe space to be and be appreciated.
We are a group of like-minded animal lovers seeking to save felines from the horrors of live on the streets.
